As shown here by gunsmith/assembler "Rock & Roll" Lee Fletcher, the Skookum chamber cleaner is a great tool. It's firm yet flexible rod lets you use the tool effectively, without the worry of damaging an expensive single pice stainless rod.

Using standard military chamber brushes, it will be a familiar tool to all those ex-servicemen.
