LOOK! It changed! OK OK... I have been away from the page for a long time. Been very busy, and the Shot Show put me back that much farther. But I'm back - at least for a while. Thanks all of you who check up on me once in a while to see if I'm alive, and get ready for some New News! |

Shot Show '98 Another sucessful SS has come and gone. We introduced the actual production of our BBK-01 Ultramag actions, showed off our 10/22-style stainless receiver, displayed for the first time our OA-93 TG, and told our dealers about our 1998 price rollback! That's right - . We will also be introducing a new PCR rifle - the Eliminator. It has a 17" barrel and the full sight radius found on a standard 20" barrel. Will be posting pics in the New Products page soon! |

Where are the catalogs? Our catalogs are coming late this year for varius reasons. For those of you who have been trying to get one, make your request about the middle of March and we should be able to get one to you then. Thanks for your patience! |

New for '98 Olympic Arms is proud to announce that our receivers will now come with a mil-spec hard anodizing! There will be a trasition period, so some receivers leaving now may have our old coating, but soon all will change to the new hard coat. |

More women are packing pistols A recent article in the Chicago Sun-Times stated that "the number of firearm ownership identification cards held by women in the six-county Chicago area has increased 43 percent since 1991, according to figures from the Illinois State Police." They also say that "people who work at gun shops and shooting ranges believe that protection is the biggest reason women are getting into guns--although the violent crime rate in Illinois and across the country has been going down." Maybe that's because more people have guns and are protecting themselves- including women...hmmmmm... |
