Hero's and Goats

2 Recent Public Attacks;
One makes the Headlines.

Warning: Editorial Comments
These comments do not necessarily reflect those of the ownership of Olympic Arms, Inc.

By now you most have already heard, but it has happened again. A 66 year old man and former employee of a suburban Illinois engine factory, returned to that factory with a golf bag full of guns (including what the media has announced as being an "AK-47", which we all know is was not) and started shooting. Four ended up dead, not counting the shooters suicide. As a journalist, I refuse to print the cowards name that performed the acts of aggression against his former co-workers, as these tragedies are glorified enough by the typical left-wing media. Printing his name will only bring more attention to the man possibly even causing others to think that a similar act with get them some headlines as well.

What happened in that engine factory is nothing less that an absolute tragedy. People were killed, how could it be anything less. Every life is precious, no doubt about it. But what is even more tragic is the way that this event, ands others like it, are covered by our biased, left wing, liberal, Democratic, one world government, socialist media.

In a manner that comes straight out of the popular 1980's Don Henley song, "Dirty Laundry" the networks "make their living off the evening news". Anything to push the ratings up. Most stations will even use this opportunity to enact a, "We interrupt this program…" style newsflash. As long as there is an evil gun involved, they feel the people have a right to know.

But recently, there was another attack that I bet you didn't hear about, and this is kind of the reason for this editorial. For more info read on.Click HERE to get the whole story.

The new dealer catalogs are out and ready to ship. Our bulk mailing should go out in the next few weeks. If you do not have a current FFL on file with us, you will not get a catalog! Hence the incentive to send one in immediately.

New dealer level pricing as advertised in the catalog will take effect FEBRUARY 1. So please, on the first of February, do not ask for the "old" prices. They will not be available. All orders placed prior to Feb. 1, will be honored at the current prices whether in stock at that time or not.

Olympic Arms also to display
at IWA Show in Nurnberg, Germany

From the 9th to the 12th of March, 2001, Olympic Arms will be displaying its wears to the international shooting community in Nurnberg, Germany. As most of you will probably not be attending, I won't bore you with too many details. But, if you do get the chance to go, it is well worth it to see Nurnburg, as well as some of those high-brow $300,000 African Safari engraved bolt guns that the rich Europeans like to buy.

Anyway, here are some links:
Official IWA Show site.
