All Olympic Arms Ultrmatch® barrels come standard with the following features:

1x10" twist
Air Guaged bores
Broach-Cut Rifling
11 degree Target Crown
Cut from 416 Stainless Steel bar stock
Minimum SAAMI Spec .223 Chambers for maximum accuracy.
Barrel nut, handguard cap, and complete front sighte base assembly.

Bull Barrels

Bull Barrel dimensions are available for either the button rifled or Ultramatch® style AR barrels. They are the same price as the standard barrel of your choice using the pricing structure above. Bull barrels do not include the gas block or barrel nut. Standard gas blocks are available for $25.00 ea. (while supplies last) and Picatinny rail gas blocks are available for an additional $35.00. See Below.

In most cases bull barrels are installed using tubular free floated handguards which are the barrel nut.

This is a photo of our gas blocks. These gas blocks both the round and Picatinny Rail blocks are available for all sizes of our barrel contours (Bull, standard heavy, and Eliminator). These blocks are sold separately from the barrels, and can be used on new as well as old Olympic and other standard spec AR style barrels.

The standard (round) gas blocks are slated to be discontinued and completely replaced by the Picatinny rail gas blocks. Supplied are limited, and your order may be upgraded to the Picatinny rail gas block without notifacation.

Free Floating
Tube Handguards

The F8A, Carbine length Aluminum Handguard.

The F7A, Rifle length Aluminum Handguard.

The single most important thing that you can do to improve the accuracy of your barrel other than replaceing the barrel, is to add a free-floating handguard assembly. This upgrade does the same thing for your AR as glass bedding does for your bolt action rifle. Free-floating the handguard removes all the outside stress from the barrel as is possible with an AR type rifle, allowing for maximum inherant accuracy of the rifle.
