The Olympic Arms GI models.

Here they are. You asked for it, you got it. Inexpensive, and rugged, they are all forged, and all ready to go!

The GI-16 and GI-20 models may be a step backwards in sighting systems, but not in technology or quality.

The GI-16 (shown at left) is basically a Plinker type rifle, except the GI-16 has the greater strength mil-spec quality forged receivers. Or, you could call it a PCR-5 with A-1 sights. Same result either way, a fine carbine with a 16" button rifled barrel, forged receivers and A-1 sights.
The GI-20 (shown at right) model is essentially identical to the popular PCR-4 rifle with a 20" button rifled heavy match grade barrel with a 1x9 " twist, except the GI-20 has A-1 sights rather than the current mil-spec A-2 sights.
Virtually identical with the exception of barrel length, these new rifles feature the more modern upgrades and advancements of the A-2 rifles, but are outfitted with A-1 style rear sights (a close-up is shown at left). The forged upper may have A-1 sights, but it still has the A-2 technical upgrades of the forward assist and built-in brass deflector for those lefty shooters out there.
This receiver body close-up clearly shows the forged receivers with all of the A-2 upgrades. The only exception is the A-1 rear sight system.
Again, this picture shows a close shot of the forged receivers. Notice the tight fitting receivers, and the great looking Oly roaring lion logo!

With the A-1 sight system, your sights are still fully adjustable. You just have to adjust the elevation at the front sight post, as opposed to making incremental adjustments using the rear sight base like you would on a A-2 rifle.

Biggest advantage: Forged receivers, and inexpensive pricing!

GI-16: MSRP $699.00
GI-20: MSRP $749.00

These prices are $50.00 less than our similar models with A2 sights (the PCR-5 and PCR-4)!
