Flash suppressors are threaded 1/2"x28. For use on pre-ban firearms only. The Phantom design eliminates nearly all flash, but has closed end design for more strength and less snagging. A1 flash suppressor and Phantom require lockwasher; A2 flash suppressor requires peel washer.
