The AC4 pneumatic recoil buffer replaces the spring and weight buffer which are
standard in today’s AR-15 models. The AC4 will provide a smoother recoil, softer
recoil feel, reduced muzzle climb, and totally eliminates that destracting sprong
noise. Customers often comment on an overall improvement of function when they
switched to our AC4 pneumatic recoil buffer.
The AC4 is gas-charged so there will never be messy leaks, common with similar
hydraulic products. Testing in extreme temperatures, hot and cold, showed
the AC4 pneumatic recoil buffer to be effective in many different types of
environments.
The AC4 pneumatic recoil buffers ONLY FIT A2 buttstocks and buttstocks that
use a full length receiver extension tube. The AC4 does NOT FIT in many
standard collapsible stocks.
This adjustable buffer replaces the spring and weight recoil system in an A2 buttstock. This model is designed for use with .223 Remington / 5.56 NATO, pistol cal (9mm, 10mm, 40 S&W and 45 ACP) and more in AR-15 rifles and carbines.
Using a hex head wrench (included) you can adjust the amount of recoil the buffer will absorb. This allows you to fine tune the buffer to the specific cartridge your are using as well as conditions. Great for use in competitions.
