F85RP Predator Handguard
This is a Mid-length Free floating handguard for 16" barreled carbines.
The Olympic Arms Predator Handguard is manufactured from precision made aluminum extrusions. During the machining process, picatinny rails are cut in both the front and read of the free-floating tube handguard, and venting slots are added to allow for better ventilation (barrel cooling - adding to barrel life and accuracy) and lighter weight. The tubes are then threaded for the F7BN aluminum free-floating handguard barrel nut, and a mil-spec hard anodized finish is added.
As another first from Olympic Arms, the picatinny rails are integral to the handguard, not attached with screws or rivets as with other manufacturers.
Each handguard includes a barrel nut and tension bolts. Inside diameter is 1.625", for internal space.
NOTE: This Mid length handguard covers the front sight base/gas block area of the traditional carbine length gas system and will need a low-profile gas block for installation.
