Barrel, 20in. bull Ultramatch, .223 Remington
Olympic Arms Ultramatch barrels are known world-wide as some of the most accurate barrels available.
Chambered in SAAMI .223 Remington minimum.
Manufactured in-house from double stress relieved and Maga-fluxed (electronic particle testing) 416 stainless steel bar stock, drilled, reamed, and then Broach-cut using a patented progressive broaching system where all four lands and grooves are cut at the same time, in a process that adds ZERO stress to the barrel blank. Barrels are then air-gauged for consistency, and then turned to the contour and dimensions needed.
Standard in a 1x10 twist (with an optional 1x8 available), all SUM (Stainless Ultramatch) barrels are chambered in SAAMI minimum .223 Remington to provide the greatest level of accuracy.
1x10 best for 55-65 gr bullets
1x8 best for 68 and up.
