shop. The Specialty Shop was established in 1995 to provide quality custom 1911 style .45's at reasonable prices. |

Being one of the few
pistol makers who manufacture the majority of their own parts, we have
complete control over quality. As a matter of fact, Safari Arms
manufactures all of the major components for its pistols, including the
slide, frame, barrel, beavertail, safeties and slide stops.

Safari Arms, Inc. Big Deuce
For years IPSC shooters have been mating dissimilar metals when putting guns together. The reason being as the two different metals, in our case, steel and stainless steel, wear together better than two like metals. This, with the addition of a 6" barrel and slide, makes for a winning combination. |

Safari Arms, Inc. Carrier The Carrier is a brand new 1911 .45 ACP from the Specialty Shop. This bushingless .45 is based on our Reliable frame, and will make a good bullseye, pin gun, or carry piece. The bushingless system has been used to provide better accuracy, and there is no bushing to wear out and get sloppy. This sturdy firearm will make a nice addition to your gun safe or holster. |
