This is the new stock, all done. This photo shows the first completed prototype T30AM4 with a baked enamel coating. A close up shot of the side and back of the stock. A close up of the intricate detail cast into the butt plate. This is exactly how it comes out of the casting. No extra machine work is done to the butt plate, the castings are just this good! Here is a photo showing the side by side comparison of the new T30AM4 shell and the fiberite polyner model also offered by Olympic. The angles butt plate us easily noticable from this shot. The angle was changed to make it more comfortable for the shooter. Also, you can see that the stock is longer as well. This will give the shooter an extended platform, providing greater security and stability closer in length to the original A-1 type stock of the Vietnam era. It is green in color but will actuall be produced in either a Z-Kote teflon, powder coat or rubber coated finish. This photo is just the shell of the stock itself, also, just the waxing.
