Another exciting new product from Olympic Arms. The TPG combines the two most requested and used items for both tactical and practical shooters. The TPG (Tri-Pod Grip) is an all metal vertical pistol grip with a trip-pod mechanism hidden neatly inside its body, ready for action in a second. Let's take a closer look.

The TPG looks like this with the legs extended, and unattached to any object. Made from billet aluminum with a soft non-slip, yet durable foam rubber cover. It feels great in your hands when being used as a vertical pistol grip, and it as sturdy as any bi-pod on the market.

The TPG's ball-joint attachment pin is made of solid steel, and strong enough to stand up to any full-sized rifle short of a 50 BMG!

Shown at right, when attached to an AR-15 with any standard picatinny rail system, the TPG can be neatly folded away so as not ti interfere with storage. Because of the unique all steel ball-joint attachment, the TPG can be rotated and adjusted fully in 306 degrees of direction.
This shot clearly shows you the under side of the TPG, and its folded stow-away legs. The legs are held securely in the stow-away position by a small magnet inside the grip body. To extend the legs simply "pop" them out, and the practically spread themselves out to a perfect resting position. To re-stow the legs into the grip body, simply push one leg up inside, and they will all automatically follow, stowing them neatly and completely as shown.
This picture at right shows the legs of the TPG folded and ready for stowing. From this position simply push the legs up into the body of the grip, and they will "lock" in under magnetic power. This also gives you a rough idea of the size of the TPG's.

This unit is the small size, or the TGP-S model. This unit is most adaptable for tactical uses including as a vertical pistol grip.

The long model is best used as a tri-pod assembly (Shown at top).

Here is the TPG in use as a vertical pistol grip. Shown here, the TPG is pulled slightly back. The versatility of the TPG's locking elbow allows for almost uncountable options with regards to mounting to suit your personal preference.
Here is a photo depicting the use of the TPG off of a benchrest situation. The TPG is surprisingly sturdy, and unlike most other bi-pods, can be set to allow the shooter to:
  • Pan
  • Articulate
  • Elevate

all at the same time!

The TPG's 360 degree rotating elbow lock is threaded with an industry standard 1/4 x 20 threads and will also accommodate popular family electronics such as video/digital cam-corders, SLR cameras and spotting scopes like the one here provided by our friends and corporate sponsors at Bushnell.
