Q: How is my Oly Arms barrel chambered?
A: To make it quick and clear, all button rifled barrels are chambered in 5.56 NATO. All SUM, or Ultramatch barrels are chambered with Clymer® .223 Remington reamers cut to minimum SAAMI specs. Q: What barrel is on my Oly firearm, or is the barrel on my gun made by Oly Arms?

Q: What does your new model designation, PCR, stand for?
A
: The designation "PCR" stands for "Politically Correct Rifle" and means that the barrel is not threaded for a flash suppressor and the bayonet lug is removed. Our PCR barrels have a groove cut in the front for a muzzle brake which is attached with set screws.


Q: Are there any more Pre-Ban configuration firearms available from Olympic Arms?
A: No. Olympic Arms, Inc. is sold out of pre-ban AR-15 style firearms.

Q: Can I still buy pre-ban replacement parts for my existing, legal, AR-15 and variants?
A
: Most certainly! Olympic Arms will continue to produce pre ban AR-15 components as long as it is legal.


Q: Are "Post Ban" rifles legal for Civilian Marksman Program (CMP) use?
A
: YES! "Post Ban" rifles are legal for DCM use. Our PCR-SM model is made specifically for this purpose.


Q: Do you have a DCM ready AR-15?
A: YES! Our PCR-SM is DCM Match READY right out of the box!


Q: Are your products covered by a warranty?
A
: Yes! Our Goal at Olympic Arms is to lead the industry in customer service and satisfaction. For this reason, we are proud to offer the most complete limited factory warranty of its kind.

We will warranty all parts and products produced by Olympic Arms, Inc., against any and all manufacturers defects in material and workmanship, which affect the satisfactory operation of the parts or products in question for the lifetime of the parts or products to the original owner. This Warranty is non-transferable


Q: What if the Olympic Arms product just ISN'T what I expected?
A
: Above and beyond our standard warranty, we guarantee complete customer satisfaction. If you are not COMPLETELY satisfied with any Olympic Arms product for any reason, simply return it to us within 60 days for a replacement, credit, or full refund. The choice is yours! Q: Do you sell dealer direct?
A
: Yes. About 80% of our domestic civilian sales are directly to the local dealer, or through our Dealer Distributor network. We also sell to a number of National Distributors like Federal Arms, Lew Horton, and RSR. Lastly, we also sell directly to the retail public via our on line ordering, telephone or in person at our store front factory retail outlet.


Q: How do you ship?
A
: Our primary shipper is United Parcel Service (UPS ground service). However, we will ship via US Postal Service if there is a valid reason to. Be advised that we cannot track US Postal Service packages, extra handling charges may apply, and there may be a lengthy delay between the time we ship the package and the time you receive it. (Sorry, no COD's will be shipped, EXCEPT UPS.)


Q: What are your shipping and handling charges?
A
: S&H Charges are based only on the total cost of the invoice. Please refer to our current catalog for the current shipping policy.

ALL ORDERS REGARDLESS OF SIZE OR CONTENT ARE SHIPPED ADULT SIGNATURE REQUIRED.

Please make sure that arrangements are made on your end to receive the package.
Olympic Arms is not responsible for lost or damaged packages.

All packages that are returned to us by the shipper that have not been picked up by, or have been refused by the recipient are subject to a 15% restocking fee, PLUS all standard shipping and handling charges.


Q: What are your terms?
A: We ship Pre-Paid, Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card), COD-Cash and COD-Check OK (pending advanced approval. Ask your salesman how.)


Q: Does Olympic Arms offer "Open Accounts"?
A
: Not all of our customers have been honest about paying for their products with open accounts and because of that we DO NOT offer open accounts anymore.

Q: What paperwork is required by me and/or my Department?
A
: Each officer is required to provide 2 letterhead requests for each purchase - one from him/herself and one from the department. Each letter must state the following:

This firearm is being purchased for duty use.
This firearm is not being purchased for personal use.
This firearm is not being purchased for transfer or resale.
These statements are being made under penalty of perjury.

If either or both letters do not have the above 4 statements, we are not able to accept the letterhead requests and they may be returned to be rewritten.


Q: How do I pay for my firearm?
A
: We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card, certified checks and personal checks. We can also ship COD-Cash, but keep in mind that the firearm will be shipping to the department address. Also, all orders sent with personal check payments, will be held until the check clears the bank.


Q: Do I need letterhead to purchase parts or uppers?
A: No. All we request is that you fax or mail us a copy of your ID/badge with each order.


Q: Can I have a firearm sent to my department for testing?
A: Yes. Your department can request test and evaluation (T&E) firearms. We require a letterhead request and we will then forward you a form to complete and send back. The firearm of the type you are looking for will then be sent to your department for a specified period. Also, we only have a few T&E firearms available, so the exact type you are looking for may not be available. The firearm may also be out to another department, so your request may take some time. Please feel free to call and ask about availability.
